Traditional bow consists of American traditional bow (American hunt), 3 fingers of restless traditional bow and thumb of restless traditional bow. The length is 30 meters, (80 all target face) double round ranked game (72 arrows), individual elimination game(set victory system), team elimination game, mix double elimination game.
Requirement of American traditional bow (American hunt)
1 Traditional bow (American hunt) includes one body bow, two bodies bow and three bodies bow. It is not allowed to have clear mark of arrow rest but it doesn’t includes extended equipment, sight mark, scratching or any mark by pressed;
2 It is allowed to installed sight window or not. But it is not allowed to installed extended equipment, sight mark, scratching or any mark by pressed into the window;
3 Traditional bow (American hunt) is allowed to installed fur arrow rest, leather arrow rest or light arrow rest (without arrow rest)
4 Traditional bow (American hunt) is not allowed to installed center arrow rest, steel wire arrow rest and any kind of arrow rest not mentioned in last term.
5 Traditional bow (American hunt) is not allowed to installed side pad and any equipment have the same function.
6 Traditional bow (American hunt) is not allowed to installed any auxiliary equipment like bow-pulling indicator. The bow unsnatched string (includes allowed accessories) must can get through the round hole or quoit that radius that is 12.2 centimeters (the error is 0.5 millimeter).
7 It is allowed to use colorful risers and brand turn ups inside of the upper limb and the lower limb or the riser. But the observed range has the color to shoot right, it must use sellotape to cover.
Requirement of restless traditional bow
1 Traditional bow (American hunt) includes one body bow, two body bow and three body bow. Multi-colored bow risers and trademarks located on the inside of the upper limb and lower limb are permitted. However if the area within the sight window is colored in such a way that it could be used for aiming, then it must be taped over.
2 It is not allowed to use arrow rest.
Traditional arrow is put on the hand that pushes bow. The bow is not allowed to have any mark of serving nockpoint.
3 String and face walking are not permitted.
4 Traditional restless bow consists of, three fingers of restless traditional bow and thumb of restless traditional bow.
4.1 The three fingers of restless traditional bow: fingerstall, glove and finger-protector to draw or release the string is permitted.
4.2 Thumb of restless traditional bow must use thumb to pull the bow and shoot, and it can use any fingerstall made from kinds of material.
Other dos and don’ts
1 Arrows of any type may be used provided they comply with the common meaning of the word “arrow” as used, and do not cause undue damage to the target faces and butts. An arrow consists of a shaft with a point, nocks, fletching and if desired, cresting. The maximum diameter of the arrow shaft exceeds 9.3 mm (arrow wraps shall not be considered as part of this limitation as long they do not extend further than 22 cm toward the point of the arrow when measured from the throat – nock hole where the string sits-of the nock to the end of the wrap) ; The points for these arrows may have the maximum diameter of 9.4 mm. All arrows of every athlete shall be marked with the athlete’s name or initial on the shaft. All arrows used in any end shall be identical and shall carry the same pattern, colors of fletching, nocks and cresting.
2 Traditional bow: no draw check device may be used.
3 Traditional bow: field glasses, telescopes and other visual aids may be used for spotting arrows.
3.1 Provided they do not represent any obstruction to other athletes.
3.2 Prescription spectacles, shooting spectacles and sunglasses may be used. None of these may be fitted with micro hole lenses, micro glasses, or similar device, nor may they be marked in any way that can assist in aiming.
3.3 If the athlete need to cover the spectacle lenses of no-sighting eyes, then it shall be fully covered, or an eye patch may be use.
4 Accessories are permitted :
Including arm guard, chest protector, bow sling, belt and ground quiver. Devices to raise a foot or part thereof, attached or independent of the shoe, are permitted provided that the devices do not present an obstruction to other athletes at the shooting peg or protrude more than 2cm past the footprint of the shoe. Arrow passage is not allowed to installed on the bow.
5 The number of the string is not limited. The string can use different color and material. It may have a center serving to accommodate the drawing fingers, a nocking point to which may be added serving to fit the arrow nock as necessary, and, to locate this point, one or two nock locators may be positioned. At each end of the bowstring there is a loop which is placed in the string nocks of the bow when braced. In addition one attachment is not permitted on the string to serve as kisser or similar device. The bowstring shall not in any way assist aiming through the use of a peephole, marking, or any other means.
6 When traditional bow braces, the height of serving can’t exceed the nose.
